The Young Victoria
Ohh how long I've waited to see this movie. I first saw ads for it in europe back in July! And now nearly a year later I've seen it. And it was lovely. Just as I thought it would be. Costumes were of course beautiful. Emily... gorgeous. Rupert... dashing. I look at these dresses and wish I could have lived back then so I could wear them. And then I remember the corsets and change my mind. Maybe I'll just bring the flowers in the hair thing back. Because I think that's pretty great. Here's one of my favorite ensembles....

I just want you to know that I read your blog... even if I don't always comment (I know, I really should have commented on the blog you wrote about people not commenting but anyway...) I wish I could have worn dresses like that, too. I was going to have one made for me in high school but then I... just didn't. Anyway, if you ever want to make me one, feel free!

ReplyDeletehaha...well, i think you were talking to me about the baby thing....if so, i'm not pregnant...and won't be for a while :) that made me laugh. I guess you have some explaining to do... unless it's because I look pregnant, then you can just make up a story so I won't feel fat :)

ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah, we're still at the Y. I just graduated and am finishing teaching 3rd grade for the school year and Darrin still has 2 years left, so we'll be here for a while.
