Grumpy Pants.

I've been terribly grumpy as of late. It's a combination of things really... but it needs to stop. The first month of summer has been extremely lazy, which is natural for exhausted college grads like ourselves. But I'm done with the lazy. I'm starting to get... on edge, yeah that's the right word, on edge with things. Sleeping in, watching television for hours, and sitting around until our dinner shift starts. I HATE IT! So I'm changing things up.

1. Early morning Yoga. or something physically challenging...

2. More lunch shifts.

3. Do outdoorsy stuff.

4. Keep our apartment cleeean!

5. Eat healthy stuff. And more veggies.

Oh, and I'm finally trying acupuncture! Hopefully that helps with the lingering tension headaches. And I found out that Carson Nation starts June 25. So exciting. And Memorial Day, Mum's Birthday, Fathers Day and Colorado are right around the corner... Oh boy.

Busy busy Saturday. My best friends baby shower, which I've been planning for several months, finally happened. It was a blast! It turned out beautifully. Sneak Attack

Did I forget to mention my lovely sun burn?
First sunny day of the season and I get this baby. What the...

bugged.

There is nothing more annoying than waiting ten minutes, ordering a cheeseburger KETCHUP ONLY and riding my bike all the way home only to discover its not ketchup only. For those of you that know me, you know I will not touch a burger with anything on it. Childish, I know... but really HOW HARD IS IT?

Sincerly,

extremely frustrated.

Deer Droppings

Jake and I have had a rather productive first week of summer! We enjoyed our first snowy cone of the season yesterday. Peach Raspberry. Delish.
Then after slurping it in the warm sun, we decided to go on our first camping trip of the season!
We had lots of fun, except for the part where we discovered our mattress had a puncture wound, which landed us at home in our warm bed at 1 am :) Don't you just hate when that happens..?

Graduation

Well the day I've been dreaming about for MONTHS finally came and went. It was such a huge fantastical deal in my mind and now it's gone and I'm supposedly some sort of college grad. Hah. That's a good one right? 22 credits this semester with a whopping 3.74 GPA. No idea how that happened but I'm okay with it :) Here are some photos to prove it happened.
 so excited!
 pinning on them buttah bars
 2nd Lt Jacob Kearns!
 Troopers.
 Baby Tay!
 Showing off...
 Bae Mae
At least someone likes that hat.

Ohh we're such grown-ups!
Now the blissful summer is here, I'm now a primary worker and I start my job back up tomorrow!
This is exciting stuff people.

Vampires.

Nothing like a krafty mac to help recover this girl from a hefty weekend....
More on graduation later... I'm busy getting wrapped up in Vampire Diaries :)
and Stephen? He's like Shane West meets Matthew Morrison. Not bad...

Burn, baby, burn...

Last night we had our first bonfire of the season (at the same spot where Jake and I met 3 years ago, just a cute side note), complete with a full stack of term papers we couldn't WAIT to burn.
A memorial torch was lit to give salutations to our beloved university...
But the real joy came in tearing to shreds the thousands of textile science experiments I've done.
As you can see, Jake just enjoyed playing with his lighter fluid
 and fire stick.
But today... well it was nearly as distressing as this dead Alpaca we drove behind this morning. I wonder what the story is behind that one.
Why was it distressing? I don't know, maybe it was the curb I attempted to run over, (unintentionally of course) no worries it was just the entire skid plate that fell out.
Or maybe it was the dozens of dishes that came crashing out of a box we were moving, breaking everywhere.
OR MAYBE... it was my adviser emailing me HOURS before commencement telling me I haven't registered for the classes I need to graduate college. That was pleasant. Before you feel sorry for me, I quickly corrected her MASSIVE mistake (after a scary fit of rage complete with much swearing). What a joke.
At least we fit in some foosball.
