25 Weeks

Annnnd we're back! Man am I exhausted.
Today I am 25 weeks. 15 more to go!
So grateful I didn't go into early labor on the boat.
I had a dream half way through the trip that my water broke.
It was terrifying.

All of the gelato and Margarita pizza's have made my belly
nice and round. He likes it too, kicking me all the time screaming more, more!
Walking around hot and humid Europe made me finally understand
the whole swollen prego feet situation. I can't run around and skip stairs like I used to.
I haven't noticed any stretch marks though. I'm sure they are next in line.

Now Jake and I are recovering in Utah for the next day or two then we're
headed back to our new home with our puppy! I'm thrilled to finally
settle in and get life started there. Also, I want to set up the nursery so badly :)

Lots of vacation pictures to come...

23 Weeks

23 weeks and we're finally home in California!
Unpacking and organizing is pretty exhausting, luckily we have
the perfect excuse for taking a break from our new life...
A two week vacation cruising the Mediterranean!
I still can't believe we're actually going.

As for Baby we finally got to see him via ultrasound today.
I had no idea how many body parts they needed to look at.
I literally thought my bladder was going to explode.
He's doing really well though! Still a boy and currently in the
93rd percentile. Looks like I might be having this
baby before November 11th, but we shall see!

Next week marks the due date from my first pregnancy.
I honestly can't imagine how stressful and difficult
it would have been having a baby right now!
Heavenly Father knows what he's doing and had the perfect plan
set for Jake and I. We are so grateful for our Autumn baby.

A Little Waffle Love

Trying to do a little catch up.

After Jake finished up training, we were able to meet up in Utah with some friends for the weekend. It was just what the doctor ordered. We stopped by the farmers market in Provo and got some "Waffle Love" which was very tasty. A little pricey... but good. I will be trying to duplicate that Pina Colada in the near future. We miss you already Ally and Isaac!

A San Fran Fourth

After only being in Cali a night we decided it'd be worth one more hour of driving to spend the fourth of July in San Francisco. It was a lovely day, really breezy and cool. We checked into our European sized hotel and walked all the way down Fishermen's Warf. We browsed around Chinatown, ate some French pastries, and felt the fresh sea breeze on our faces. San Fran is quite the melting pot, there was never a dull moment and of course the pier was jam packed.

We finally made it down to Ghirardelli Square to watch the fireworks right on the beach. They were really close and baby Kearns loved all of the booming. He was banging on all cylinders. Afterwards prego and GI Joe pushed through the thousands of people to make it back to our room. I swear thats what the end of the world will look like. I've never seen so many people flooding the streets. We love having such a crazy cool city so close to us. Can't wait to take family back for some delicious chowder and sightseeing!

Come see us soon...

telegrams

It's been quite sometime since I've blogged. Mostly because this has been the most insane week of my lifeeeeee! Ugh, moving across the country can be exhausting. First there was the twenty-six hour drive in the twenty-six foot truck. That was crazy. Then we finally got here and things got real nuts. Like, we might kill each other if we have to spend one more night in a hotel nuts. So needless to say we have been in full blown house hunting mode.

Moving can be stressful enough, but moving while pregnant... it's exhausting! So by day four of "Operation: Home in Vacaville" my body and mind had been pushed way past my limit. Around four o'clock we sat in the Target parking lot with massive headaches and randomly found a listing that changed everything! I'm very excited to say we'll be moving into a house today. In case you're wondering, we decided to rent. With the market the way it is and the possibility of us only being here a couple of years, we thought I'd be best. We found a cute little cottage in Vacaville (right by all the shopping) that will fit our little family perfectly. The master is huge and it includes three walk in closets, a secret door into the nursery, and a bathtub so naturally I said, when can we move in? I'll put up pictures later this week:)
