Dreamy Dreamy Disney

I was born with Disney in my blood.
So imagine my excitement when I got to bring my baby!
It's true, he didn't really appreciate it that much, but it was so much fun seeing his face
the first time he saw Mickey or the madness that is Small World. Complete wonder and awe.
It was worth every crazy, exhausting moment.

Disney does magic like no one else.
Add eleven cousins and ten adults and you have one heck of a party.
We mastered the fast pass and rider swap system.
So thankful for the Kearns family!

Graham's favorite ride: Small World and Haunted Mansion (Nightmare style)
Mom's Favorite Ride: Tower of Terror and Soaring Over California
Dad's Favorite ride: Toy Story and Screamin

Aquarium of the Pacific

There is something so magical about aquariums...

We stopped by one in Long Beach on our way to Disneyland and had the best time. Graham was mesmerized by all of the fish and they liked him too! My favorite part was the jelly fish... they are unreal. If I ever get rich I would love a tank of my own. I could watch them all day.

Snippets from Teton Valley

Snap back to reality.

Well our family reunion came and went. All twenty-two of the Kearns clan came to my dad's house in Driggs, Idaho. It was a fantastic week filled with games, ice cream, water fights and fireworks and I'm very, very sad it's over. It also didn't help that I drove straight from the cabin to the airport to say goodbye to my husband for three months. Cue mental breakdown.

So here I go, trying to keep myself busy by blogging and reading Gone Girl. I desperately hope October comes quickly. Sometimes I feel like I'm not cut out for this military wife thing. The hardest part is seeing my baby grow and learn without his dad by my side. I can't believe he'll be nearly one when Jake returns. I can only hope it will make me a stronger woman and mother, and you know what they say... absence makes the heart grow fonder. I love you and miss you so much Jacob Kearns.

BFs in SF

Guys, I did it. I finally had an enjoyable day in San Francisco!

My two best friends flew in for a long weekend. They happened to get here at the exact same time my husband arrived from his sixteen day mission in hell, not to mention my baby was growing four teeth, so naturally things were a little crazy.

Our time included a viewing of The Fault in Our Stars, (read the book NOW) a trip to Panera and Trader Joes, (musts in California) swimming and fajitas.

To top off our weekend together we took the ferry to San Fran and strolled through an amazing Farmers Market, then we took the cable car to our hotel, shopped in Union Square, ate the perfect meal at The Cheesecake Factory on top of Macys, and souvenir shopped in Chinatown.

I am the luckiest girl for having such loyal and hilarious long time friends, I cannot thank them enough for the lovely visit. So excited to continue these girl trips with them!
