Angels and Frisbees

Nothing like a spontaneous trip to Idaho Falls to brighten up my life. We were able to attend the Blue Angels  air show this weekend along with 38,000 other people. Crazy stuff! I was kinda nervous about the heat/parking/tickets/everything else, but it worked out rather nicely. Jake and his air force-ness got in FREE and buying mine was a breeze, we rode on the moped so parking took 30 seconds, and Ally's uncle has a hanger there so we got a shady spot to sit, free lunch, plenty of water and a lovely bathroom. Awesome stuff. Afterwards we went camping with the Domans and had a lot of success (even with the hole in our air mattress) There was a bathroom, no rain, and free food (thanks Bart). It pretty much restored my faith in the great outdoors.

Sun Valley... part two.

Man I have felt so spoiled lately. Last weekend, I was able to go drive to Sun Valley with my sister in laws. We had an absolute blast. There was some swimming, shopping, eating, nertzing, and maybe even some skinny dipping...! haha it was a lovely time. I can't believe how blessed I am to have married into such a remarkable family. I learn so much from them.

Will's Birthday

We've been spending a lot of time with Jake's family lately. Jake's sister Julie came up from Texas this month and we've been having a blast hanging out with their family. Especially since the only time I had met her was on my wedding day! We saw "Despicable Me" had a great BBQ for Will's birthday and swam lots and lots. He is such a funny kid. I loved getting to know them better. They were also able to come visit us in Logan! We all went to Bear Lake, ate Raspberry shakes and Taco Tuesday, then cheered for Ali and Christina on "America's Got Talent" (Can you believe their going to the Semi Finals?) It was tons of fun. Summer is going by wayyy too fast.
