The Dallas Zoo

Here are some snap shots of our day at the Dallas Zoo. 

It was a perfectly cloudy day which made it a lot more enjoyable. 

My favorite part of the zoo is the giraffes, and we got to feed them! 

I think Jake's favorite part was getting face to face with the Cheetah. 

We're going to miss these friends of ours, so glad we got to spend the day with them. 

Easter Sunday

Another lovely weekend in Dallas. 

I really don't know what we would have done without The Roses

these past couple years away from home. 

We take any opportunity we can to visit, this time it was to celebrate Easter,

one my favorite holidays.  

Ours was filled was the usual egg hunts, 

candy feasting, Sunday worship and a family feast. 

Maizey did manage to find a dark chocolate bunny 

and ate half of it while we were at church. 

So after much vomiting and and a lot of stressing out (on my part)

I think she's okay. Apparently the darker the chocolate

the worse for the dog... yikes.

A Day in Dallas

Have I mentioned how much fun we have with the Roses?

Marc works at the building above and we all went down to have lunch with him

and hang out at the new park in Downtown Dallas. 

It was a beautiful day!

Tonight we find out our future...

My mom and sister came into town last night to take part in the festivities

and hang out for a few days.

The anxiety is almost too much to handle. 

It's impossible to think about anything else!

A Day at the Park

Last Sunday, we took our niece and nephews to the park.

It's becoming a bit of a tradition.

It was super hot but those Texas kids don't care.

We sort of like them.
