The Twilight Zone

Back in the throws of classes after a fun weekend celebrating Amy's birthday... Today was interesting, the second picture is of my fellow classmate getting the handcuffs I put on her for a presentation plied off by a kind gentlemen. I think that says it all.

Short Week

I love having Mondays off school, it makes the week go by a bit faster... and I desperately needed that. We've plunged head first into The Three Musketeers this week, the shop is filled with Cavalier clothing! As overwhelming as that is, it makes the end of college seems super close. I can't wait to graduate and move on with life. Logan gave me an education, a husband, and tons of friends, but I am ready to experience life in a different place. Count down to Spring Break? ONE WEEK. It's getting down to minutes now and I am sooo excited to drive far far away! I will be dedicating this week to the wonder of Disney and the happiest place on earth. Have a great weekend lovelies! I'll be in Draper eating Red Velvet cake and watching the Oscars with the Kearnsy's...

When I don't want to go to Scene Design I...

Courty Lynne tagged me in 15 facts, so here's some interesting and probably not so interesting things about this crazy gal...

1. I dream about making and designing beeeeautiful dresses and opening a boutique.
2. I had an infection when I was four that made my fingertips the size of golf balls (never diagnosed...)
3. I hate winter. I am pretty sure I have seasonal anxiety disorder. Or just arthritis.
4. I have a strange fear of sandwiches.
5. I was diagnosed with West Nile when I was a senior in high school... (starting to sound like a hypochondriac)
6. I sort of hate my apartment, and the lack of a disposal, dishwasher, quiet neighbors, and washer/dryer.
7. I'm extremely self conscious of my stomach.
8. I could eat pizza for every meal, or mashed potatoes.
9. dream job? singing on Broadway... I used to sing. I loved it.
10. cooking, blogging, blog reading obsessed. oh and I want to be taza.
11. I'm terrified of not graduating.
12. I can't wait to have little chillins.
13. Dr Pepper is my favorite drink
14. I have a TV addiction.
15. I can't stand tuna fish.

Oh and if you are in Logan and would like to come see "Our Country's Good" at  Morgan Theatre, it runs through Saturday and it's free for students! It's about English convicts that they brought to Australia back in the day. P.S. There are some "adult themes" so don't bring your chillins.
Can you believe I've spent the last two weeks dressing these crazies? More on that later :)

Once Upon a Time...

Who knew that twenty something years later these little cuties would meet, fall in love, and live happily ever after? I never imagined such a lovely life... thank you to a very special man who somehow saw something in me that he loved. I cannot wait to start our life together, having babies... traveling the world... it's going to one wild ride :) I love you Jacob Ryan Kearns!

Temptation

Arthur, Arthur, Arthur... you sad sad pathetic man. Why did you eat 35 chocolates and stab your team in the back?

Jake and I love Biggest Loser, we also love eating Taco Tuesday while watching it... which is ironic. And I assure you, it will catch up with us. Jake and Courtney, Biggest Loser 2025. Team Voldemort (Jake's priceless input when I asked him what color we will be) Anyways... if you don't watch this, you should definitely get into it. It's one of the only reality shows with redeeming values. And there are a lot of locals on it this season, like Deni from Bountiful, Moses from Shelly, and Rulon Gardner. Woot Woot!

Love.

Ohh Valentines Day is almost here. I was never really a fan of it growing up, I think most teenage girls tend to despise the holiday. You sit around all day in class wondering if you were going to receive a Val-a-gram, or flowers, or anything. But during my freshman year of college, my friend Lauren and I became rather obsessed with making Valentines and eating Valentines candy... and it stuck. And now that I have sweetie, I love it even more :) So if you like making day of love crafts as much as me, here is a website that has some great ideas. Love the crayon hearts.

Before we die...

Jake and Courtney's Bucket List:

1. Have babies. And grandchildren, naturally.
2. Live all over the world. Italy, Italy! (Courtney) And learn another language. (me, again)
3. Ride in a hot air balloon.
4. Safari in Africa. Maybe even ride an Elephant.
5. Go to Venice. Together. And France.
6. Build our dream house. With a pool (Courtney). And horses (Jake).
7. Skydiving. In Hawaii preferably.
8. Open a boutique. An awesome one with clothes, baked goods, jewelry and more.
9.  Be a big time pilot. Maybe for celebrities? (Courtney)
10. Swim with Sharks. (Court) Or maybe just scuba dive... (Jake)

Show me a true blooded Aggie from Utah...

Gotta love Aggies basketball.

Throw Back

A little shout out to my sister Lauren who turned 20 yesterday. My sister. Twenty. That's bizarre. My twentieth was my favorite birthday thus far, and it sounds like hers was pretty good too. I am really proud of her and how she's living her new life in North Carolina. I've managed to make it the last month without really breaking down about her absence. I usually try not to think about it, but it's the random, small things that make my heart hurt because I realize she isn't there anymore. Besides Jake, she really was my best friend in Logan. I know that she is where she is suppose to be, and I'm so glad she has found friends there that treat her like she deserves! She posted this picture on her blog of us when we were little. Yes I am holding a My Twin doll. Yes I am dressed just like her. Man do I miss childhood innocence.
