telegrams
What a great week! Went by far too fast.
We were lucky enough to have our besties visit from SoCal.
Pregnancy is keeping me sleepless and massive, which is fine,
because it means he's growing and coming soon!
Can't believe I'm almost full term.
1. Primary Program, that's right, we're the new 4A CTR teachers. Again.
2. My birthday surprise day in Sacramento started with baked goods. Pumpkin muffins and caramel apple donuts to be specific. Oh it was good.
3. After my prenatal massage Jake took me to a fancy Italian restaurant in Roseville, Margarita pizza is one of my top five favorite foods. Next to donuts.
4. The fancy Italian restaurant gave me a free dessert.
5-8. The next day we took Maizey and a picnic to SF for a free concert at Golden Gate Park. Parking was horrific and we missed the first two groups because of it, but we ended up having a good time and The Goo Goo Dolls and OneRepublic were aweeeesome. Of course.
9-12. The Domans are in town and I talked them into going to the Jelly Belly Factory.
13. Making chowder for the sad USU vs BYU game... poor chuckie.
14. Went to SF with the besties and decided to get some crazy donuts for breakfast.
15. Lunch at Boudin. I want to kiss whomever invented bread bowls.
16. Conference Breakfast this morning was Baked Pumpkin French Toast with Caramel syrup. Sooo good.
Anybody notice I take way too many pictures of food? #pregnantproblems

A Day in Dallas
Have I mentioned how much fun we have with the Roses?
Marc works at the building above and we all went down to have lunch with him
and hang out at the new park in Downtown Dallas.
It was a beautiful day!
Tonight we find out our future...
My mom and sister came into town last night to take part in the festivities
and hang out for a few days.
The anxiety is almost too much to handle.
It's impossible to think about anything else!
Stay tuned :)

When Autumn Comes...
Oklahoma's Autumn definitely doesn't compare to that of Utah,
but I'm trying to make the most of it.
I think autumn is beautiful no matter where you live.
Except for maybe some parts of Russia.
I sure do miss those Saturday mornings in Logan Canyon.
If you're there please buy some bagels
and hot chocolate and enjoy the colors for me.
Sigh...
sorry mom.
actually, no I'm not.

Pumpkin Patch
Ohh I love pumpkins. Almost as much as I love Luke.
Are your eyes burning from all the orange?
Probably.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!
I'm spending mine watching conference and making goodies.
A weekend at home is just what the doctor ordered.

Twenty-four
So I like to plan parties.
Even my own birthday party.
and I think it turned out really well!
I am truly blessed to have such great friends.
And a great husband who puts up with me :)
I was reading this blog earlier, and I think she took the words right out of my soul.
"I am a deeply blessed woman. As I begin my (twenty-fourth) year I am feeling much more reflective and quiet. I feel life speeding up and the risk of missing it crouching at my door. I long to be an authentic woman who shares her heart freely and simply and above all I want to trust God. I am so weary of simply trying to please Him - I want to live into the freedom that is trusting Him."
Twenty-three was a tough year for me!
Probably the toughest thus far.
Moving away from home was very difficult
and having a husband in pilot training? Even more so...
But it made me stronger, more experienced,
and I fully intend to use the insight I gained
to build a brighter and more accomplished Courtney.
I'm sick of thinking about my dreams.
I'm ready to live them.

Rainy Days
Ten Things to do on a Rainy Day
1. Buy a pair of rain boots.
2. Jump in puddles with your rain boots.
(or drive through them in your heated car)
3. Open up your windows so you can really hear the rain.
(do not do this in your car)
4. Light a candle or two.
5. Drink some tea or hot cocoa.
6. Turn off all the lights and look at lightning.
7. Read a book and curl up in your heated blanket.
(don't forget your fluffy puppy)

8. Make Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.
9. Collect some rain water for your hair.
(a soft water rinse makes your hair soft and shiny)
10. Watch one of the following movies: Somewhere in Time,
Steel Magnolias or Step Mom.

Tulsa
Yesterday we decided to get the heck out of Enid.
I've been sitting around here far too long and just needed to drive far away,
So we went to Tulsa!
We ate at the lovely Panera Bread...
(I just can't get enough of their Pumpkin Muffies.)
Then took the pup to Woodward Park. It was lovely!
It was a wonderful seventy degrees and there were leaves everywhere...
just what I needed.
I also got to hang out with my friends Anthropologie and Target. I love them.
Anthro has some great homemade Christmas decor that I'm going to copy.
