¡feliz cumpleaƱos!
So it's been a while since I've written about how much I hate serving. Probably because I never work. But tonight I did and it was awful and this is one reason why...
People. You tip your server based on the amount your check was BEFORE the gift card. Why should I get punished for you receiving free food?? Makes me soo mad.
My last table tonight was a group of thirsty rednecks who decided to have me split up their check 3 ways. Lame. I did really well on this table, I gave them free desserts and even attempted to sing them "Happy Birthday" in Spanish. This was big for me. So after a night from HELL I thought I'd catch my big break from this table. After they left I collapsed on to the chair and collected my bounty. The check was 215.00... I counted 28.00. That's less than 15%. Really? Why? It's because they based their tip off of their remaining balance. I am so done with this job.

I've gotta V instead of a P
Wow... as much as I love driving around seeing family, I am loving being at home without school or christmas shopping to worry about. I love having sloppy joes for dinner, watching Easy A (anyone notice the surprise appearance of Miranda from Lizzie Mcguire?) and snacking on chocolate oranges and dipped pretzels. I love not having to worry about classes in the morning or the ridiculously boring play I didn't read. Dear Christmas Break.... please slow down and last as long as possible. Thanks.
5 things I love right now.
A. Amanda Bynes bad acting
2. FaceTime
3. warm socks
D. Orangina
5. Apple TV

Bend Over
Lovely Draper, how fun you are... Jake and I have had lots of fun this weekend with his family. Us girls had a marvelous shopping day yesterday and ran into Nie Nie my idol! So that was great. Then we came home, watched Christmas movies, ate baked potatoes, played no peeky leeky and snacked on delicious peppermint brownies. Today we celebrated Court's birthday with some yummy strawberry cake and mario kart. Great weekend. I can't believe Christmas is this week!

Carousel from Hell
Sooo this is what happens at the end of a horrific week of school... Courtney gets too lazy to change into her paint clothes, which was working just fine until she went to put her project away and bumped a can of green paint which spilt all over her nice jeans and new shoes. Lovely. On the up side, I had a lot of fun running Midsummers, It was a really good show! Pretty excited for things to go back to normal though. I cannot tell you how excited I am to get this week over with. I just want to go Christmas shopping, bake goodies for my neighbors, and sleep in!

arise from your flowery bed...
This week is and will be completely consumed by school and a certain production of Midsummer Night's Dream. Today I will be at campus for 12 hours straight. I'm pretty sure that's a record for me. So you should totally come see it. Fantastic costumes, Lovely actors, Beautiful orchestra, and a dazzling set... you really can't loose. Wish me luck on the longest week of my lifee!

Snowy Times
It has been a while... School has officially taken over my life. But I can see the end... the light is flickering at the end of the tunnel. And while I was running towards it, I caught my second cold of the season. Lovely. Anyways... life has been crazy busy. But we have a fantastic Christmas tree that brightens my day, we narrated our ward party (everyone loved us, we're thinking about going on tour) and I'm obsessed with Christmas shopping. Online shopping that is... because I have no time for real shopping. It will all be worth it. Right?
P.S... Really liked this movie. I would highly suggest seeing it. unless you get motion sick easily.
