Queen Latifa in a Bounce House.

Ohh what a wonderful Christmas. This year we spent the Christmas holiday with the Kearns family. It was lovely to say the least. A lot of Jake's family (okay...they're my family too) were able to come to Draper for this blessed celebration and we had soo much fun! Mike and Ashley's kids are absolutely adorable and made the Christmas spirit truely thrive. They were very much excited for Santa to come. There were many presents, tons of food, and lots of Nerts. Oh and one can't forget the PS3 and SNL. I'm so grateful for such wonderful in-laws and new family members. They made it so hard to leave! Here are a few pictures from the party...

When I say party I mean it...

Davis and Bailey dancing to Jingle Bells!

Our first Christmas as a married couple... Awww! (no makeup and a elf hat, don't judge me)

Mike and Ash. Nerts for Life.

One must not forget the gorgeous sisters. I got stuck with the one in the middle. :)

Hope you all enjoyed Christmas! 2010... I welcome you.

Frosting, frosting, and more frosting.

It's Christmas time with the Morrisons! Jake and I went home for a few days before Christmas to spend some time with my family, and had a great time. We made gingerbread houses, played halo (wait that was jake) and saw Avatar at midnight! Wooohooo. Below are some pictures of the Gingerbread house Mckell and I made. Quite successful if I do say so myself. The frosting was quite disastrous. McKell liked it.

Obsession.

Let me introduce you to my hot... steamy... winter obsession. White hot chocolate. Haven't tried it? WELL YOU MUST! Now I love me some hot chocolate but I always get a little overwhelmed with the rich milk chocolate flavor and quit my sipping. So when I was introduced to the WHITE hot chocolate, it was the perfect solution! So try it, and tell me what you think. If you go to Starbucks and order a white hot chocolate with caramel... you should be rather pleased. Oh, and I am currently searching for a white hot chocolate mix so I can quickly make it at home. Let me know if you've heard of some. Happy sipping!

Celebrity Twins

I may or may not have done two posts in a day. ANYWAY... Jake and I were watching Julie/Julia and a thrilling discussion came to play on who we'd choose to portray us in a movie of our lives. It would be a box office smasher I'm sure. Well... this is who we came up with (this was only after I decided Meryl was a little too old). What do you think?

Coming to a theatre near you...?

"As Uta Hagen would say..."

Meet my brother Trent Morrison. I didn't know you had another brother you say...? Me either! We met this semester in our Beginning Acting course and became instant long lost siblings. We're convinced that somehow we're related, and besides that, almost anyone who's seen us together asks if we are brother and sister. Trent and I were partners in crime all semester, humoring our eccentric professor Lynda Linford and watching funny YouTube videos on the back row. Lady GaGa is one crazy blonde. By some miracle Lynda allowed us to do our final scene project together and we had  lots of fun. Below are the pictures from our final scene as Nina and John, contentious siblings who drink cocktails and argue. It was a lot of fun.... a special thank you to Mike, Abby, Dano, Ginny, Cameron, Lukas, and all you other freshmen for making this class such an entertainment. Trent thank you for allowing me to maintain sanity throughout this class. Oh and also my husband for practicing lines with me.

Ohhh Christmas Tree

Saturdays. Love them. Especially when it means Christmas tree shopping!! We found a fantastic Noble Pine at Home Depo and carried it home on Ruth (my Jetta) while it was snowing hard. We decided the theme was silver and gold. It turned out rather well! And we did rather well on the spending too. Ohh I love Christmas.

Thanksgiving

Oh Idaho Falls... it seems like the most entertaining and stressful things happen when i return to this place I once called home. On our first night we slept on my mother's lovely basement floor. I was extremely tired and pretty grouchy (poor Jake) and i ended up waking up in the middle of the night to thousands of freaky sounds surrounding us (thats what happens when the house is historically old).

Jake is of course sound asleep while I'm about to die of terror, until suddenly he sits up saying "What?" Except he wasn't saying it to me. He was talking in his sleep again. Then he says... "Did you kill him?" Well this was lovely to hear while already sweating bullets thinking there are serial killers/rapists in the home. Needless to say the first night was interesting. We then moved to a bed but the noises stayed accompanied by a yippy little mutt my family calls Mason.

The rest of the week was filled with movies (saw Blindside twice), turkey, about 15 pies, my husband playing Halo, and a squirrel attacking the house. But we did get some fantastic Christmas decorations. Heaven bless anyone who lives in Idaho Falls.

Two loves. Barbeque Chicken Pizza (hold the onions) and Lauren's face in this picture.

sisterly love... notice the lack of makeup? beware of styes....

The incredible cooks.

The adorable children.

Many thanks to the lovely family and friends who made this holiday memorable. My heart and stomach were filled many times over.
