Jake always comes home with many stories and great pictures from his time flying, I'm going to try and do a better job at documenting them! Here's a little peek into his twenty-four hours in Iceland.
He and his crew took off around four in the afternoon from Travis and flew directly to Keflavik, Iceland (...surprisingly only an eight hour flight). For the next 2 1/2 days, they didn't see the sun set. They landed around 11am took naps and then hit Reykjavik to see what Iceland was all about. First impressions...super expensive and weird food. An apple = $6, Bag of Grapes = $9, Whale Steak = not worth it. All in all, Reykjavik didn't live up to his expectations, but the following day they flew into a different airfield on the opposite side of the island that was surrounded by lush green fields and snow capped mountains that opened up to a massive fjord. So beautiful!

- Weird penis museum
- Leifr Eiricsson statue given by the U.S.
- People were wearing "Kill Whales" (they would not do well here in Cali)
- Bachelor parties there are all about humiliating the groom (flying them in acrobatic planes, dressing them as hula dancers, etc)
