Military Ball 2009

How how lovely the past year has been! I can't believe Jake and I have been together over a year now.... and I still like him. Crazy. So above is a picture of us at Military Ball last year.  Jake was so nervous we were going to be late, so he picked me up extra early and we just sat around the student center feeling awkward because he didn't know anyone yet.

Thank heavens this wasn't the case this year. We had a relaxing dinner at the OG (aka Olive Garden) and then we hung out with some friends at this years Military Ball. It was quite entertaining, as always, and it was complete with the classic awkward moments: girl wearing my same dress, some dancing mishaps, and to finish it off... an incredibly awkward conversation with his commander. Go Air Force!
