Hump Day

Sooo it's Wednesday, or "Hump Day" as I call it, and this weeks is the worst. Some stomach problems arose early this morning and have left me in a muddle, not wanting to leave the house. So I didn't... and this is what I made. 

Tres Leches. Sooo good and really easy. Instead of frosting I used whipped cream, Cafe Rio style. Now on to a better day, with a clean house and a rested soul.

The TRON Printer

Lovin my new printer.

Staples is having a "fifty dollars off printers" sale... so we decided that instead of spending up to fifty bucks getting new ink cartridges that might fix our broken computer or might not, we'd just spend an extra fifty to get a fantastic printer that has cartridges already with it. Worth it? I think so.... plus its so sexy.  It lights up, takes your printing commands wireless-ly and spits them out super fast. We love you TRON.

Hot Springs and The Fighter

What a weird weekend it was... I was expecting some serious downtime to use at my leisure and instead got a jam packed crazy couple of days. But I'm over it and ready to have a productive and successful week! I can't believe we're almost in our last month of college. As excited as I am, my mind is constantly racing with all of the things coming up. So this weekend will be a lovely one, I get to go home, see my friends and family, watch conference, and get my hurrr done. Breathe out.

One good thing that happened this weekend was Baby Tuck's blessing... these cute kiddos always make me smile :)

Oh, we watched "The Fighter" this weekend. Really good. Really different. Christian Bale... there are no words to describe his performance. If you have a Clear Play you should definitely watch it. The language is a bit much.

Monday Nights

Monday nights for me usually consist of girly television, an easy meal and lots of wasted time... Tonights meal? Asparagus and Pasta Roni. I love love love asparagus and if you have not tried it, you really should! It's soo easy and tastes great. I have learned that the best way to do it is with olive oil and a bit of kosher salt. Stick it in a 400 degree oven for ten minutes. When it's done, drizzle it with a bit of Balsamic Vinegar Reduction (boil vinegar with a bit of sugar until it's thick and syrup like) and it's delish.

Lovely right? Pair it with some Natures Way Pasta Roni and it's a pretty healthy meal! Happy Monday:)

Lulu

Last night I spent some time with the Morrison family in Brigham City and it was entertaining, like it always is... My grandma celebrated her birthday recently and last night she received her all time favorite gift, a "furreal" cat named Lulu. Grandma shrieked with joy when she saw that fluffy white robot. So that kept things interesting... as did the tiny cute cousins and the crazy loud Morrison men.

Alright people of the blogging nation... I have found my new favorite thing. It's a site that lets you catalog all of your favorite online finds. Doesn't seem that cool huh? Dreaming...

Ohh another gloomy week... Yesterday was rather nice. We had jacket free weather! But I'm afraid that is gone and it looks like snowy skies ahead. I wish I was in Vegas with these kiddos and little Taytum. Wish we could go lay out by the pool.... Bask in the sun... That would be nice. Instead I'll just push through these last few weeks of college. The closer it is, the more weight I feel coming off my shoulders. Maybe its our cap and gowns that are hanging in the closet. Either way It's rather exciting :)

Hello Spring...

Oh Logan. You are so silly, surprising me with all of this snow this morning... Keep this up and I will be very VERY happy to leave you this summer.

Today I am thinking back to a time where Jake and I sat front row center at Phantom in Vegas... It was an INCREDIBLE show. The costumes... the chandelier... the voices. What a fun night!

Air Force, give me my dates!

Ladies and Gents. I'm going crazy not knowing my future. Those of you that know me know that I'm a planner. I need to know when we're moving! Seriously, Air Force I think you're great... But if you don't give me my dates soon I will resent you. And if you tell me to move the day after I graduate.... Watch out.

Anyway, I did have a fantastic weekend. I can't believe how close to April we are! Mostly because there is no sun and absolutely NO color! But I'm pushing through...
